What I'm working on now
Polytalk is a simple protocol which allows communication between different languages via TCP. The protocol uses a simple JSON object to pass back and forth request and response information from the server and client.
At PetFlow.com I'm helping to re-architect their existing platform as the customer base grows exponentially. Along with development of their main platform I've developed multiple marketing properties to help grow the company organically via social networking.
andru.co (this blog)
I'm actively adding new functionality to this blog which has been open sourced. The source code can be found here at GitHub.
What I've worked on in the past
At BetterTheWorld.com I was the lead developer. Over the course of my tenure at BetterTheWorld I helped design and develop multiple mobile applications and websites for the Pearson Foundation (WeGiveBooks.org), TD Bank and the Heart & Stroke foundation. I also helped realize BetterTheWorld's latest venture FlipGive.com a fundraising platform that allows individuals to crowd fund for their cause using giftcards from retailers in Canada and the US.
WSHH Mobile iOS
Developed a highly popular iOS app for leading hip hop video site WorldStarHipHop.com. The app was downloaded over 60,000 times in the first month and generated over 2 million requests.
Chooey.com is a tracking platform I designed and developed for affiliate marketers. It allows marketers to run multiple campaigns on multiple networks and see their stats and revenue in real time. The base of Chooey had been in use for over 4 years tracking millions of clicks for tens of thousands of campaigns. I compiled the best features from the past systems and added some new features along the way.
Legacy work (really old stuff)
You can view a rundown of work that I did pre 2009 here on my old site.
